So if you haven’t heard, the new Mercedes C300 is an awesome vehicle with amazing handling, power, and comfort amenities. It can be yours for a low monthly lease with a zero downpayment through Oz Leasing.
First, for any new car, you have a few options: buying it, renting, or leasing. Generally, you only rent for a very short-term period. You could buy a vehicle, but most people prefer leasing due to the flexibility and lower long-term costs. The low monthly payments of a lease entice many people who simply cannot afford the large commitment to buy upfront. Corporate owners or high-class buyers used to dominate the auto leasing market, but the field has expanded to allow everyone access the car of their dreams. Oz Leasing is taking things even further by letting you control the process through an intuitive digital checkout!
Did you know that nearly 25% of all new cars in the United States are sold under lease agreement? It’s no wonder, given all the obvious benefits, including:
No longer the primary point of entry into the Mercedes-Benz family, the 2018 C-Class sedan finds itself just above the CLA-class and under the higher-end E and S-Class sedans. The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine powers this sporting luxury car to deliver 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, and a 9-speed automatic transmission.
For those with a soft spot for the maneuverability of all-wheel drive, there is an option to upgrade to the C300 4Matic, priced at approximately $2000 higher than the standard variant.
Overall, the performance figures are not vastly different from the previous generation C-Class. You can expect to hit a 60-mph sprint in just about 5.9 seconds. While Mercedes refrains from publishing a top-speed for the C300, our guess is it peaks at somewhere around 155mph.
The 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan was awarded the NHTSA’s highest overall safety rating of five stars. The safety features have remained more or less the same in the newer trims too, possibly with a few minor tweaks here and there.
Your 2018 Mercedes C300 lease comes with 4-wheel ABS, 4-wheel disc brakes, electronic stability control, blind spot monitor, adaptive LED headlights, child safety locks, and integrated turn signal mirrors.
The front-impact airbags for the driver and passengers have been optimized to protect the head during even the worst cases of a frontal crash. The side impact airbags for the front seats are designed to offer protection to the torso during a side impact.
There are also overhead airbags to protect the occupants in the event of a sideway collision or rollover.
All advanced safety features are appropriately sensitive and should not trigger false alarms.
The interior of the 2018 Mercedes C300 comes loaded with many enhancements, including a lot more legroom for rear seat passengers. The slightly revamped design looks impressive with a graceful center stack and a minimalistic layout approach afforded by carefully calibrated buttons. Beware though, the interface looks slightly complicated and might take some time getting familiar with the interface!
The buttons are limited only to serving essential functions. This is important considering that the ultimate goal was to give the cockpit a simple and elegant layout.
As for the exterior, things haven’t changed much since the previous iteration of the C300. The 2018 model rocks a facelifted bumper, and the corner vents have grown marginally. Other noticeable changes include a slightly revamped grille featuring new mesh and louvers.
The standard front seats of the 2018 C300 offer adequate adjustment settings to ensure that drivers of all sizes can easily find their optimal seating. The padding, while firm, manages to offer a smooth experience – thanks to the well-contoured surfaces! Lateral support is pretty decent too.
Once set, the automatic climate control feature is “smart” enough to adapt on its own without requiring manual adjustments. The noise and vibration controls seem much better than the previous generation C300 at ensuring a quiet and peaceful ride.
Like most GM models, the infotainment display in the new C300 is carved into the center stack. The button controls below are backlit and flaunt a chrome trim. The native infotainment system comes equipped with all the features we generally expect from a car in the C300’s price range. However, it might take some time before you can get yourself familiar with the interface and the trace pad.
The voice-enabled features seem accurate enough to ensure a smooth experience.
The new C300 offers more than enough room for all your carry-on luggage. Slightly bigger items might require a bit of jostling, but that’s not a problem unique to this car only. While it doesn’t offer too many bins and pockets, the ones you have are generously sized for keeping your personal items.
